ANGAT Buhay (Uplifting Lives) is a program of the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines former VP Leni Robredo in the fight against poverty. Please read the End of Term Report at Angat Buhay Technical Report in this link: https://bit.ly/OVP2022reports. Last July 1st Atty. Leni Robredo announced the establishment of ANGAT Pinas Inc. to continue the ANGAT Buhay program. As quoted from Atty. Leni Robredo “We will continue this. We will continue our association. We will build the largest volunteer network in the history of our country. ”

In response to the call of the former Vice Presdient Leni Robredo in continuing the fight against poverty we have established Uplifting Lives Foundation USA as a registered non profit organization in the USA.

Primary focus is supporting Angat Pinas Inc., Angat Buhay programs in the following program areas:

1. Public Education
   1. Literacy and Numeracy Remediation Program for Grade 1 Learners
   2. Education Infrastructure Program –  Provision of dormitories to schools with students living in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA), and classrooms to public elementary schools that lack classroom in proportion to their population and fails to provide a conducive classroom learning environment.
   3. Establishment of literacy and numeracy centers  
2. Disaster and Relief
   1. Recovery and Rehabilitation – Sustainability
   2. Immediate Relief Intervention
3. Health relative to Nutrition Program 
4. Community Engagement

We support the programs that reached out to the under privileged communities in the Philippines in coordination with Angat Pinas Inc.
